Dr. Sketchy's/Art Bizzare show

This month I had the honor by being the featured artist at Dr.Sketchy's/Art Bizzare. I presented a body of work consisting mostly of circus/sideshow themed art.

the largest pieces were 2 mixed media paintings set up as Carnival cut outs. The intent of the piece was to bring the audience into the work and perhaps make them feel like they were in the shoes of the subject. Also I figured it would make for a good photo op...

 A special thanks To Anita for organizing the event and to all of the models who volunteered there time in the figure drawing portion of the evening.

Holy costume commissions Batman!?!?!

       The robin costume was based primarily on the 60's TV show robin.  I found some fairly inexpensive spandexish material which ended up being a b*tch to work with on a sewing machine but I finally figured it out. I Also made the utility belt fully functional so he could keep his wallet I.D. etc on hand.

       The Batgirl costume was more of an amalgamation of things. It was built primarily out of PVC and left over spandex from the Robin costume. Her utility belt came with all the same entrapment's.

 Here is a picture of the costume in action! (fits alot better on him then on me).

New Flyers!

It's been sometime since I updated my illustration blog so, here are a few flyers I have managed to do between shows with the Sisters of the Sacred flesh. More to come!

Poster Design

created a poster for Devilynn Desade's upcoming Fetish Carnival. It was fun toying with circus imagery and text. We have decided to do most of her branding in this manner so there will be more to come!

New Steam Punk illustration

This is a new piece that I am tinkering with in between freelance opportunities. Just for Shits and giggles. Still in progress. 

Doom Magentic!

Just finished an illustration for William Pauley III for his upcoming book "Doom Magnetic". The book is a sci-fi spaghetti western centering around a character with a Cue Ball eye. Lots of fun. Look for it on Amazon in March.
